![]() ![]() With its 30 round mag, the ACR is ridiculously overpowered in XDefiant. If all of your bullets hit in the chest, you should be able to take an enemy out with 5 bullets. Of course, you should be aiming for the chest and higher but the ACR is forgiving and gracious enough for you to be able to take out 2 enemies with just its default magazine. This weapon has an incredibly fast time to kill, regardless of where you are hitting the opposition’s body. Its recoil is incredibly easy to manage and with it being Stockless you can fly around the map gaining the upper hand and push your opposition first. With this in mind, the ACR can be used when jumpshotting and strafing. For many players trying XDefiant out for the first time, they most likely have come from Call of Duty. ![]() But where its true power lies is within its mobility. The weapon class that reigns supreme for close combat is the SMG in XDefiant. It can be used in the hands of the Echeleon or Phantom, being two very different playstyles of offense and defence. We've included an AR below that we think slightly higher skilled players will get more benefit from, however.The ACR 6.8 is a highly adaptable weapon and one that will punish anyone who tries to shoot you first. You can perhaps think of the ACR as the most comfortable and balanced rifle, and a good weapon to start with. Some people will prefer the higher rate-of-fire of the Vector, but it only has 25 rounds in the mag by default and so it burns through ammo very quickly. The MP5 and P90 have noticeably worse TTKs than the MP7 and the Vector, so the title of "best SMG in XDefiant" is really only a competition between those two. With the place of SMGs in the XDefiant meta, the M870 will be up against stiff competition, like the XDefiant MP7 loadout or XDefiant MP5 loadout. ![]() Hence, we will present you with the best close-range SMG, the best mid-range AR, and a great alternative AR for slightly higher skilled player. This M870 build focuses on boosting range and mobility to really hone in on the run-and-gun playstyle that can make shotguns work well in close-quarters.
